Common Necktie Prints

The cliche states that some good things never last. It's not entirely true as some good things do last depending, of course, on a couple of factors. Classic ties and contemporary ones have at least one thing in common-their prints. So whether you are wearing common ties or classic ones, the prints are basically the same. If you are not familiar with the varied prints that are characteristic of neckties, then check this out:

DOTTED. These are classic prints-polka dots on neckties. For most Asians, dots are typically associated with money and wealth (they are shaped like coins). If you share this particular belief, then it should come as a no surprise when you find yourself wearing polka dot neckties during New Year. When you do so, you are inviting prosperity, not just for your business, but for other aspects of your life (like relationships) as well. If you have are prone to splatters and beverage spills, then you should wear polka dot ties as they camouflage these otherwise staining prints in your neckties. Polka dot neckties are perfect for people who are known to be happy-go-lucky individuals.

FLORAL. When you say floral prints, it is not only limited to flowers, but leaves, sunshine and even fruits. They typically come in vibrant colors that are always reminiscent of the tropical season, fun-filled summers with orange, yellow, bright green and sky blue colors. Very few men wear floral printed ties and if you are among those who do, you would agree to the claim that they are typically worn on beach parties and other occasions with Hawaiian or floral themes. If you want to show everybody that you are in touch with your feminine side, you can also wear these types of ties.

PLAID. When one hears it, one immediately thinks of Scotland and everything Scottish. Plaid prints are typically a lot like checkers which can be lined diagonally, vertically, or horizontally. As a general rule, three or four colors are used in plaid ties, which allow the wearer to mix and match it with a lot of wardrobe colors. Conventional classic plaids are made of wool, although contemporary ones are manufactured from different materials that have plaid prints in them. If you feel like putting on a festive cheer during the Holiday Season, wear a plaid tie in sports red, green, white and black colors. The overall effect of this tie when matched properly with your suit is simply superb.

PRINTLESS/SOLID. Ties that do not have any print on them are called solid ties. They are notorious for their color than for their lack of print or design. These are pragmatic choices if you have shirts that have printed collars or simply printed shirts, and you do not have the knack for mixing and matching designs and patterns. If you are a lover of classic ties, then you should definitely get of these solid neckties. More neutral colors like dark blue and gray are still among the favorites among men.
