The desire to appear attractive to the opposite sex is what drives fashion. This desire is as old as humanity itself no matter what other definitions for fashion are put forward. It is due to this reason that the fashion industry's worth is increasing day by day at an unimaginable rate.

• Nowadays people follow their favorite stars of Hollywood or their favorite rock/pop musicians and as a result designers of these select few have also been put on a pedestal which allows them to ask for unrealistic prices for their designs.


• People also follow the fashion of different cultures who they feel are superior to them, this is why the fashion of the west is so popular in the east.


• Brand Association is another reason for the craze among people to be associated with a particular name since it depicts their status in society.



• Some call running after fashion frivolous whereas some are under the opinion that it gives them a chance to get away from the stress.


• Today everybody wants to be different because it is not considered weird anymore but just an expression of oneself hence fashion.

Fashion is not limited to clothes and shoes only but extends to accessories like bags, hair and skin accessories.
