The Guide to Grooming For a Man

The days have gone when only women were considered to be obsessed with their appearance; now the same applies to men too. Take a look at the following questions to check out how much attention you are giving to your grooming:

  1. You know the face makes the first impressions and you might look quite the hunk now but are you giving your soap any thought, perhaps it is making your skin dry and increasing the aging process.

  2. How much attention are you giving your teeth?

  3. Do you shave daily and do you keep an electronic razor while traveling?

  4. Are you using cosmetics or any other method to delay skin ageing?

  5. Have you noticed your nails recently, do you keep them manicured.

  6. What about your hair? Is it always well shampooed and styled or are you careless, is it graying at an early age then you may want to consider coloring or dying.

  7. The last but not the least; are you aware of your body odor and what you are doing about it. Perhaps the best idea would be to use cologne instead of other fragrances which can have quite a strong smell and other people may not be comfortable with it. Cologne is a subtle fragrance with the least concentration of perfumed oils. Perfumes on the other hand can be quite over whelming for other people. Applying cologne on the pulse points like the wrist, neck, elbows, behind the ears and knees will cause the fragrance to last longer, applying it on clothes is not a good idea as it may stain them and might not last long. Choosing the right one also needs attention, you should try only two at a time by applying a little on the wrists and carefully judging whether you like it and is it going with your body chemistry.

The last question above is considered by many to be the most important part of grooming before putting on your clothes whose importance of course needs no mentioning. Cologne for men should be their signature. It is also very helpful in elevating mood; increasing confidence which must is a person's asset.
