What to Look For in the Perfect Pair of Shoes?

Whether you are known for walking tall in the highest heels or strutting in your kitten heels it is important for you to look for particular features in shoes so that you always find that perfect pair!

Before buying a pair of shoes ask yourself what your key wardrobe pieces are. Look at the styles and colours of your favourite outfits and then chose your shoes around them. This will ensure your shoes are versatile with numerous outfits and will therefore reduce the number of shoes that sit in your wardrobe only to be worn once. Consider your lifestyle - What type of job do you have? You may need to have shoes that are primarily for workwear that are practical but there are little limits to partywear when it comes to shoes.

Make sure you check the shoes materials before purchasing. A quality pair of shoes should be made from premium materials such as leather and suede. You will undoubtedly pay more for these shoes compared to synthetic types however they will last you longer and be more comfortable because of their composition.

If you are a true fashionista it is of course important to look for shoes that have trend inspired features - for example this season block heels, brogues and laces are must have shoe elements. However, it is also important for you to look for shoes that also have classical influences - this will ensure that the shoes you buy will take you from season to season without looking 'last season'.

Depending on your own style the level of unique features required in your shoes will vary. However, finding a unique and/or exclusive pair of shoes will get you noticed and will avoid the awkward silences when you turn up to work or a party in the same pair of shoes as someone else. Be an innovator not a fashion follower!

Finally, but most importantly you must look at the silhouette of the shoe before buying it. For example if you have wide feet avoid buying very pointy shoes. Have larger legs? find the measurements of the boots you are wanting to buy before you part with your money. Find it hard to walk in heels yet would love to and envy everyone else around you who can? Look for platform heels that have straps. This will make the shoe feel more secure, make you feel more confident and will have you strutting in high heels in no time!

If you follow the above points it will leave you with a wardrobe full of shoes you can actually wear as they will be comfortable and versatile, will save you money, will inevitably reduce the chances of you having to return items, and will ultimately have you stepping out in style every day of the week!

Buying Leather Wristbands at Wholesale Prices B2B

With the turn of the century came the mass tidal wave of open global trade which opened the doors for production giants such as China, Peru, and India to introduce their leather products to the market. Although Mexico is known to have some of the best leather tanneries in the world, they mostly deal in the trade of whole leather hides, not so much in the production of leather goods.

With that in mind, these production giants have flooded the market with an abundant amount of leather products most of which (not all) that are of very low quality. When buying in bulk make sure you keep the following points in mind, which in turn will result in a higher return on investment (ROI) when buying handmade leather bracelets.

Number one rule when buying wholesale leather wristbands is that price is not everything. Although in many cases the price is set low to attract a buyer, don't expect much from the product itself. Usually made from faux leather which is fake or artificial leather that is processed to look and feel like the real thing tends to wear and tear after wearing it a few times.

Also be cautious of leather cuff retailers that advise you not to expose their leather product to water. Water is NOT leathers arch nemesis. This is a good sign that the leather product you are buying is made of fake or low quality material. Exposing leather to water will only softened it at first but when dry will regain it's original state. If it's leather that has been dyed, water may / will fade the color a bit.

From my experience when buying wholesale leather wristbands, I try to find a source that uses authentic leather. You can get a good idea of the leather someone is selling by looking at their product images. Second, I look at their prices, if they range between $1.00 and $2.00 dollars a piece or lower than be cautious as to what you are buying, price and quality go hand in hand.

On average a good quality leather wristband should cost between $4.00 - $10.00 wholesale depending on the leather that is being used and the hardware on it. Bare in mind, you are representing yourself and your company to your customers, spending an extra dollar or two per piece can make a difference between a repeat happy customer that will refer you to all their friends and an angry one time customer that will only bad mouth your business.

You can find local leather wristband wholesalers near you by doing a Google search including your city's name, for example: Wholesale Leather Wristbands Los Angeles, CA

Similarly the Christian clothing is worn by members of the church and clergy and consists of a long robe in somber colours with the collar type distinguishing the rank of the person. However, Islamic clothes are supposed to be worn by all Muslims regardless of their social or economic status.

The different types of Islamic clothes are based on the region that they most commonly originate from, but Muslims all around the world are seen in similarly designed Islamic clothes. The most common types of clothing worn by Muslims include:

Abayas and Jilbabs: Worn by Muslim women, this form of Islamic clothes consists of a loose fitting long robe that covers the entire body from the shoulder to the ankle or toe. Most commonly made of a thick black wrinkle free fabric, it is worn over a layer of casual clothes. Most jilbabs are open in the front and allow the wearer with the ease of putting it on and buttoning it up. They often resemble the western overcoat worn in the harsh winter time to protect against the cold weather, but is made of different fabrics. Certain abayas have a small rope attached to the end of the sleeve, which is swirled around the middle finger to keep the sleeves from rolling up when the arms are raised.

Hijabs: This is by far the most popular Islamic clothes article available worldwide. It is worn by all Muslim women with a number of types of outfits. It consists of a scarf or headwear that covers the hair and wraps around the face. The hijab can be worn with western outfits, eastern outfits or any other form of Islamic clothes, as it is mandatory for women to cover their heads in Islam.

Jubbas: The classical robe worn by Muslim men, the jubbas originated in the Arabic region. Initially worn in the desserts to protect the body from the intense heat, it has become an integral part of the religion. Today it is worn my men all around the world in particular for special Islamic events and occasions.

Kuffiyah: The headdress for Muslim men, it consists of a scarf draped over the head and shoulders. It is occasionally tied around the circumference of the head with a thick rope like cord to keep it secure in place.

These are the most frequently seen kinds of Islamic clothes worn by Muslims all around the world. Certain changes can be seen based on the region that they are worn in. These changes include styles and fabric choice based on the weather and other external factors.

How to Choose the Right Corporate Workwear

If you need corporate workwear for your staff, then you might have already decided what you need and why. If you don't know what you need, or what to look for then here's what you need to consider.

1. You'll need to establish why you want your staff to wear corporate clothing. Perhaps you want to portray a better image, or you need to know that what they are wearing meets relevant safety standards, or that that they aren't wearing jeans and T shirts when turning up to see customers or clients.

2. You'll want to determine what sort of environment your staff work in. Perhaps they are painters and decorators, or install washing machines, or work on a factory production line. The type of work done can hel tp establish what sort of clothing you need.

3. Once you've determined where the workwear will be worn, you can then decide what your staff will need. They might need polo shirts, sweatshirts, fleeces, workboots and work trousers.

4. Your staff clothing might need to meet specific safety standards. By choosing the right sort of corporate workwear, you'll know that your staff are safe whilst working.

5. You might also want to add your company details to your staff clothing, so that you can advertise your business wherever your workers are. Why not mention your telephone number and website on all of your staff clothing, so that it's easy for potential clients or customers to find you?

6. It's essential that your staff work clothing is durable, so that you don't have to replace it regularly. You'll also know that it provides a bit more protection too.

7. Your staff might need high visibility clothing if they're working outside, or at night. You'll need them to have jackets and vests, and possibly even high visibility waterproofs too.

8. You'll want your staff to be appropriately dressed for their duties, as they are representing your company, and especially if they are meeting with members of the public, whether existing or potential customers. Why not make sure that they are wearing smart polo shirts if a suit and tie isn't appropriate workwear?

9. Your staff will need to look professional, as first impressions count. If your staff turn up on site, and look like they can do the job, or will be able to reassure and help somebody in need, then that's half the job done. Your staff clothing should be the right colours and style for the sort of scenarios your staff will be in.

10. Remember that you might need accessories, such as bags, hats and umbrellas for your staff. These can also be branded with your logo, so that you can get additional advertising, even when it rains, or if your staff are carrying their essentials with them.

Now you know what you should be looking for, you'll be able to choose the right corporate workwear for your staff.

The Eccentric Designs of Black and Blum Deliver Style, Class and Impact

Modern, simple and minimalist; does that describe your taste? Then award winning designs from Black & Blum are made for you. This contemporary line of home accessories compliments those who love simple but elegant details. A rather new company Black & Blum has joined the lists of great home accessories design companies.

Black & Blum was created slightly over a decade ago in 1998 by two good friends, Dan Black and Martin Blum. Dan Black is British born and educated. He grew up discussing products and design due to his family's manufacturing background. He graduated with honors from the University of Northumbria in Newcastle, with a Degree in Design for Industry. His ingenuity in design became more evident during his experience working at IDEO in London. Later while at Frog Design in California and under the direction of Julian Brown from the Studio Brown bath collection, Black successfully completed many projects along with his great friend and fellow designer Martin Blum.

Martin Blum is Swiss born and has an Industrial Design Degree, also from the University of Northumbria in Newcastle. Martin's designs are an interpretation of his childhood in Switzerland combined with the passion and admiration he feels toward anything that is British. Blum, along with Black, established Black & Blum in 1998 with the intention of providing design consultation to other design companies. A short time later, they discovered that their calling was to design modern and unique looking accessories using steel as their main material.

Black and Blum's uniquely designed home accessories possess the style to derive attention from those who love what is different, because they are both amusing and idiosyncratic. Take for example their double candle holder made of chromed finished steel. This amazing and interesting candleholder stand on loops created by the twisted metal, which can be overlapped and interlocked to form a larger candelabra. This amazing piece will have your dinner guest talking more about your centerpiece than dinner. As if the candle holder weren't breathtaking enough, have your guest wowing and cooing over the Black and Blum Fruit loop bowl. This incredibly inventive bowl can be used to serve and display your fruit or even your dinner rolls prior to dinner. This bowl is made of one continuous chrome plated steel wire which is twisted until it sculpts a bowl.

However, if a candle holder and a fruit bowl do not fancy your style, then how about a wall wine rack. This is an extremely chic and distinctive design, inspired by the flow of water. The Black & Blum wine rack is made of brushed steel and holds up to eight full bottles of your favorite wine, right on the wall. Flaunt it at eye level or hang it lower for easy access to your wine bottles; no matter where you display your wine rack it is definitely an attention grabber.

Remember, if you want your home accessories to be the light of the party, then you need to add a little bit unusual and trendiness to your home or apartment. Black & Blum designs are great for anyone thinking they live on edge of fashion, style and innovation and want to show it in everything that surrounds them, including their home. That happents to be you, right?

Why Wear Dance Leotards?

If you are looking to buy a leotard for a dance class, for fashion or for a dance show, there are a few things you have to know. Depending on the class you attend, you may have specific types of outfits that are more appropriate. In ballet, it is a good rule of thumb to always wear black leotards and tights - at least until you know the policy of you dance school. Luckily, most tutors and schools will provide a uniform list well in advance of your first lesson.

Jazz classes may be less set in terms of uniform, however always be sure to wear appropriate and specially designed dance wear. A strenuous class may require leotards and tights with shorts over them. The reason for this is that the clothing will keep your muscles warm but allow the teacher to see your best lines without the barrier of bulky workout pants or baggy T-shirts. Leotards are common dance attire because it is the only way you can really learn if you are arching your back, lifting your torso enough, or turning out your hips correctly.

In certain other styles such as swing, ballroom or Latin dancing, leotards are not always particularly appropriate. Some of these lessons tend to be more casual, beginner classes and people wear comfortable clothes that do not show much of their body. It is, however, appropriate to wear a leotard if it is a more intensive lesson where you will be doing lots of original choreography, flips, spins or splits.

Many local dance studios do not have a professional costumier to provide their show outfits for them. It is then up to the teacher, individual dancer or parents of the children in the class to provide the outfits.

Some dancers are also excellent costume designers and may even make their own clothing. This is a matter best left to those with some tuition or with experience as dance wear must be well designed and put together. One thing to remember if you are making your own costumes is that if you sew something on a leotard (like sequins or leaves or anything stiff) it will make the leotard rigid and unable to stretch as well as it might. Keep in mind that if you sew much of something stiff, like sequins, on a leotard, it will be difficult to get on and get off anyway. Try to keep decorations like that to a minimum, just for the ease of the dancer. He or she will also not be able to move as freely if their outfit is plastered all over with a stiff material. It may decrease his or her dancing ability.

If you choose to purchase some plain leotards to decorate for a performance remember to take into account the flexibility the garment will need, the dancer's comfort and general practicality. For anyone new to dancing lessons, purchasing basic leotards is probably the wisest option. This usually proves most cost effective and allows a dancer to concentrate on mastering their own moves, which in dance is the best way to success!

9. Your staff might need waterproofs, especially if they work outside. Don't forget that they still need to be able to work, and need to be able to move their arms and legs whilst staying dry.
