The High Quality Hip Hop Tee

Wearing a simple plain tee has always been a comfortable style for most men in general who enjoy hip-hop style clothing. Just think about it for a minute: It's inexpensive to buy and saves you time. Just thrown one on and go! Obviously, we are not talking about going to the office in one but only reserved for those days when you just want to chill and hang out. Now, you just can't wear any white tee, it has to be a crisp high quality thick hip hop tee such as the ones that good hip hop clothing stores carry. So what is plain hip-hop tee you ask? Lets take a look.

These days, everyone from the average everyday person to sports athletes and celebrities such as Daddy Yankee, Fat Joe and Jay Z all rock the plain hip hop tee. When you hear the phrase "plain hip hop tee" this refers to a higher quality tee made of cotton that comes extra long, tall, thick and is made as heavy as 6.1 oz to as much as 7.0 oz! The best way to see the difference is to experience one for yourself. Look at a regular tee that is in your drawer right now and compare that to one that you get from good hip hop clothing stores. You will see an amazing difference almost immediately!

Now if your going to wear a high quality tee out to have a bite to eat or hang out with some friends, you want to make sure that you rock it the right way. Make sure that you wear some stylish name brand jeans made by top hip hop brands like Rocawear, COOGI or Sean John along with some nice shoes to match the color of your tee (I prefer White Nike Air Force Ones). After that, finish it off with some bling, like a thick long chain, designer watch and earrings. You can choose to wear a hat if want but make sure it's a stylish one, preferably the same name brand as the jeans you're wearing. After that, you ready to go!

Most individuals who enjoy wearing plain hip hop tees always wear a size larger or more depending on their body type. This way the tee won't be so tight and still maintain that hip hop look. Some choose to wear two tees, one size down underneath the larger one on top. For example, sometimes I choose to wear one color underneath that is XL and another color on top that is 2X. For some this may be a bit too much but remember everyone has his or her own style, just find the one that fits you!

Metallic bikinis are the EASIEST way to stand out amongst other bikini babes. Whether you wear one at the Jersey Shore, a Las Vegas Casino or on a Tahitian cruise ship, metallic bikinis command attention from everyone.

These super sexy bikinis are usually made with lame, a special fabric woven with thin metallic yarns especially designed to make your swimsuit look as if it were spun from precious metals.

Gold or Silver Bikini Styles?

Gold bikinis are the most popular choice for most women wanting metallic swimsuits. Luminous and sparkly, gold can transform a woman from ordinary to extraordinary; this is especially true for women with naturally dusky complexions.

Silver bikinis are another highly popular metallic bikini choice, second only to gold bikinis. Silver gleams and sparkles, but can be a little too harsh for some skin tones. Women with cool complexions tend to find silver and platinum bikinis a preferential choice over gold.

What if, for whatever reason, the choice of between sunny gold or sexy silver isn't enough for you? Would you be able to locate something shimmery and appealing to your palate?

Of course!

Despite the vast popularity of silver and gold, metallic bikinis are available in a range of sexy tones, from soft, shimmery white, to bolder, wilder tones such as fuchsia, cerulean or green. For the extremely wild sexy bikini goddess, exotic animal prints and fashion patterns can also be purchased from special bikini retailers. The options are literally endless!

How to Wash and Care for Metallic Bikinis

Racy gold bikinis and metallic swimsuits are high glam and glitzy. Though these sexy show-stopping swimsuits are a must for the discerning bikini babe who must be regarded as a cut above the rest, but they come at a special price. You must keep your glamorous gold bikini in tip-top shape according to expert specifications or risk damaging it with careless practices.

Synthetic in nature, these glittery swimsuits should be treated with delicacy, as they're fragile; one misstep and you can permanently ruin your metallic swimsuit. Here are some basic guidelines for metallic bikini swimsuit care:

Hand wash your gold or silver bikini in cold water with a gentle fabric cleanser such as Woolite.

Rinse and wash your bikini after each use, especially when you've worn it at the beach or in a highly-chlorinated pool.

Strong chemicals such as Bleach, can melt a hole right through your swimsuit. Do not use it on your bathing suit for any reason.

Treat stains immediately with gentle soap and water.

Low heat settings are best for drying and ironing your metallic bathing suit. If you opt to air dry, that's even better!

When is it Time to Throw Out Your Perfume?

Many people spend a fortune on a bottle of perfume, expecting it will keep until they are done with it. But is that the case? How long does perfume last for anyway?

The quick answer is that it will not last indefinitely. Perfume is a perishable item so it will eventually go bad. Over time, its quality will degrade and it will become a scent you most certainly don't want to apply to your body. But how do you know when the time has come to get rid of your perfume? Fortunately, there are a few ways.

For the most part, a bottle of perfume will last approximately two to three years, but you need to note that that time frame is from the time of production, not your date of purchase. And with that in mind, you need to be aware of the fact that some discount perfume or clearance stores will sell scents that have gone past their shelf life, so it's buyer beware. Always be sure to look for a date on the bottle or box. Even at a great discount, a fragrance that's only going to last you a few months likely isn't that much of a deal for you. Also, with this three year time frame in mind, you know you should go ahead and throw out any perfumes that you have owned for more than this time period. Even if you can't tell the difference when sniffing the bottle, chances are you don't want to mix the scent with your own body chemicals. You might be shocked at what you smell when you do.

So, we've talked about how long does perfume last, but there are also measures you can take to ensure your favourite fragrance will last as long as possible. First, make sure you keep your bottles in a spot that is cool and dark. Both heat and direct sunlight can have a severely damaging impact on perfumes. You can store your colognes or eau de toilettes in your refrigerator, as this may help to preserve them, at least a little bit. However, keep in mind that whatever measures you take to preserve your perfume, you still aren't going to be able to extend that three year shelf life. Once that time is up, just go buy yourself a new bottle.

Are there any ways for you tell ascertain if your perfume has gone, or is going bad? Yes. The first sign to look for is the colour. If it has begun to change, then you know your time is up. Another way is to check for the smell of a hint of vinegar. Clearly, if your perfume has begun to smell like salad dressing, you know it's time to throw it out!

Begin using your perfume as soon as you have opened it. It's not something you save just for special occasions, because if you do that, you're basically throwing your money out the window.

And ladies, here is something else to think about. How long does perfume last isn't the only thing you need to take into consideration. There is a reason to throw out-or give away-a perfume that is still good. As we age, our body chemicals change with us. What smelled great on us at one point in our lives just might stink at another stage. It may be time to move on to another fragrance.

The Benefits of Overcoats

The success of the mens overcoat is because it is both practical and fashionable. It can hold all their items and it makes them look good, in a masculine way, thus a natural hit. But there is more to them than meets the eye.

If you are stuck in bad weather, the overcoat will protect you against the elements; rain, cold and dust. And there is no alternative for a classic duck-down insulated leather jacket at all!

Simple leather, wool, cashmere and lambskin are the common materials used to make overcoats. Additionally you can easily get a hood for protection during rain and extreme cold. The mens overcoat is meant to be weather-resistant.

If you live in a suburb with hot climate and cannot wear heavy overalls, there are cotton and polyester variants available too. Hollywood portrays them as the attire for the bold, the brave, the detectives and the cops. And truthfully speaking they are quite practical and do improve a man's looks. The versatility and adaptability to different temperatures have made the men's overcoat a hit. In fact, you can even get tri-climate overcoats in the market, with a wool or fleece removable inner jacket. Marvel at the progress!

Purchasing an overcoat is also an investment. It is expensive garment, but at the same time very Durable. A good overcoat should last no less than 10 years. So the top class, and it means the best overcoat in the market, is close to $2000. If it lasts only as little as five years you will still be using it at just $1 per day. These overcoats never expire; in fact they go down from father to son. Branded overcoats like Armanis and Burtons are classics, they live long and always remain in trend.

And that brings us to the matter of acceptability. Yes! In a fashion conscious world, fashion wins acceptability. Therefore, overcoats do make you more acceptable to society, and but natural you feel more confident. Overcoats are adaptable for work, after work and even during funerals.

It is safe to say that the overcoat is a must have for every man. You should have at least one overcoat if not even two. They can be perfect on a daily basis and especially when nature gets tough. They have ample space and make you look more dapper and stylish, no matter what you are wearing underneath.

How to Measure Your Wrist When Buying a Watch Or Leather Bracelet

It's very important to know the size of your wrist before you buy a watchband or leather bracelet online. An oversize bracelet or too snug of a fit can quickly become bothersome on your wrist. Below are a couple of methods that properly show you how to measure the size of your wrist.

Method A (Flexible Measuring Tape)

Using a flexible measuring tape*, Measure just above (towards elbow) your wrist bone, then write down your measurements on a piece of paper. DO NOT ADD any cushioning to your measurement.

Method B (Strip of Paper or Thing String with Flat Ruler)

*Tip: If you do not have a flexible measuring tape handy, you can use a strip of paper or thin string to measure your wrist size. Make sure you make a mark on the strip of paper or thing string where it overlaps on your wrist. Once you have made your mark, lay the strip on a flat surface and measure it with a ruler.

Important Notes:

With designer leather cuffs the actual length is an importance, but the inner diameter when latched shut is our main concern. When latched shut, leather cuffs take up space on the inner circumference of a wrist, making the measurements a bit smaller than the length when laid flat. To achieve a perfect fit (or close to it) is for the inner diameter to match the outer circumference of your wrist. Hence, that is why we recommend to use a flexible measuring tape, strip of paper, or thin string -- which are not bulky, where the inner circumference is virtually the same as the length when laid out flat.

In my case, my wrist measures 7" inches so I add between 3/4" to 1" to my wrist size, so my wristband size is 8" inches, hence I wear a Large.

Please be advised that using bulky instruments/tools to measure your wrist can cause measuring problems. We strongly recommend you measure your wrist performing either of the methods provided above before purchasing a leather watchband or stylish leather wristbands.

Which Prom Hairstyle is Right For You?

The glamor and elegance that you can have on the prom night would not only rely on your dress alone. Of course, you cannot be charming in the eyes of your date if you come with a worn-down hairstyle. Unfortunately, just like the process that you went through before you got your dress, it can be very daunting to pick from the numerous prom hairstyles that you can see on the magazines and websites on-line.

Before choosing from any of the hairstyles for special occasions, you must first know what kind of dress you will wear for the prom. If you want to wear a tube dress, you might want to tie your hair up. Just take a couple of strands of hair that would freely fall on the sides of your face and a little on your neck. On the other hand, if you would wear a Venus cut dress, you can just soft curl the lower part of your hair and squirt a little of that styling cream, enough to hold the curl for the night.

Another factor that you might want to consider when looking for prom hairstyles is the shape of your face. If you have a heart-shaped face, have your hair curled. It is not advisable for triangular faces to iron their hair straight especially when wearing dresses baring their shoulders. Meanwhile, those who are blessed with round shaped face may want to choose from hairstyles that would make them a little more mature like soft curled bangs. They should also add more volume to their hair as soon as it passes the ear. This is to give their face a balance and not to emphasize more on the roundness of their face.

If you or your friends do not have any idea on how to style your hair on your prom night, it would not hurt to take a trip to the salon at least a couple of weeks before the event. Ask for the help of a professional stylist or hire them to do your hair to make you look even more stunning. You can also take advantage of the hair extensions if you want to have fuller hair for easy styling. Just remember that the less is more phrase not only applies to the makeup that you would wear for that night, but also for your hair at the same time.

Tips to Pack For the Summer Holidays

The summer holiday season is fast approaching, we all want to escape our regimented routine, get rid of some baggage and relax, so why do we trawl around with half of our wardrobe, end up paying for over-weight and huff and puff all the way to our destination? The trick to avoid packing too much is to prepare, think about it - if you don't wear it at home in summer, chances are there is a reason, you're mot going to miraculously look good in this number just because you're jetting off to the Maldives. Here we show you just how to get that fantastic capsule wardrobe so you can enjoy your summer holidays without too much fuss!!

One major tip when packing for your summer holiday is to pick a great base colour that works well to compliment your skin tone. Depending on your colouring this could be butter, sage, teal or white, this colour is going to the 'joker' and form the majority of your capsule wardrobe. If you are on a budget and are not able to buy a few pieces to form your base colour capsule then make black or navy your base as you are more than likely to have quite a few items in these colours already. You can brighten up black with bold accessories that are small and lightweight. Once you have your base colour you can pack some other complimentary colours around it, neutrals and other tones that work well.

An extremely popular choice for summer holiday fun is the much-loved sarong. It's lightweight and easy to pack, flattering as it is not too constricting, it also works well on the beach with a bikini and can be dressed up for after dark. Pack a few sarongs in your holiday capsule and rest assured that if the weather is warm then you will be wearing these most days! Another great item to pack is the simple shift dress, it's loose fit style is easy to wear and easy to move around freely. The shift can transform from day to evening as it looks great when styled with a jacket or light-weight cardigan. Remember to pack some light-weight boleros/shrugs and shawls for when the wind kicks up and there is a breeze, especially if you plan on a coastal or mountainous walk.

If you are going somewhere hot and tropical on your summer holidays you need a few throw-on dresses, whether they be 50's A-line styles or jersey maxi dresses, these styles conceal a multitude of sins. You will also need a few fabulous evening dresses, you can never go wrong with a Little Black Dress team with your sunnies or an elegant clutch-bag in the evening and you will look classic, simple and chic. When choosing tops remember that six is maximum, really there are only so many days and chances are if you are taking more than this you are just carrying around pieces that you're not going to wear. Choose four casual, basic, day-time tops and two more dressy, so think deep decolte and racy colours like poppy or silk black.

Remember bikinis, money, passport and camera and bon voyage!!

Facts About Stretching Your Shoes

A lot of us have been in a position where we find a pair of shoes that we want and we try them on at the shop. When we get home, though, we discover that they do not fit as well as we initially thought they did. Or, as is the case many times, a different pair of socks makes them too tight. Instead of simply throwing the shoes out because they no longer fit right, there are methods that will get the shoes to fit the way they did in the store.

The easiest way to do this is to get online and find an inexpensive set of shoe stretchers made of wood. You will probably be able to find these for $30 or less. You will get a set that is the same size as your feet so once you get a pair you will have them for a lifetime, for use with all of your shoes.

The way in which a shoe stretcher made of wood works is by putting the stretcher inside the shoe and over the next few days, the shoe will stretch to the perfect size for you.

Be careful not to over-stretch shoes made of leather because they are extremely pliable, but won't go back to the original shape if you make them too big. You will have some indication of how much your shoes will need to stretch by the difficulty you experience in getting the stretcher inside the shoe. If it goes in easy, it won't have to stretch as much.

A second way to stretch your shoes that should be used in addition to a shoe stretcher made of wood is to use a shoe stretcher spray that you can buy from any number of stores. Basically, these sprays are made of quick-drying alcohol, but if you put it on the shoe stretchers or directly on your feet, the stretching process will be sped up because the material will be loosened.

Using the alcohol spray is superior to water because it isn't going to discolor the material. In addition, because it dries fast, you will be able to wear the shoes sooner than you would otherwise. These sprays can target the entire shoe or just the areas of the shoe that are uncomfortable because they are too tight.

These sprays can be purchased very inexpensively online and come in small containers that are easy to ship. Use these sprays by themselves or in addition to shoe stretchers.

A-Line Shapes Are Always in Fashion

A-line fashion was first created by French designer Christian Dior, the main characteristics of this type of garment is a narrow shoulder, emphasised waist and a flowing wide skirt, hence the 'A'. The A-line style is flattering as it sits snugly at the waist, caresses the hips and it is not too clingy.... come on admit it ladies sometimes it feels like this is the only shape that you want to wear! Not only this but it's a timeless style that is revered by top catwalk designers all the way to the high street. The A-line skirt was first made popular by Jacqueline Kennedy, who adopted the style in the 1960's due to its simplicity and elegance. So why do we love it so much?

A-line styles are perfect for rounder women or when you're having a plump day. It's great if you have wider hips, as it does not reveal the parts of the body that are bigger, so fabulous for the pear shaped ladies. If you are a very curvy women then opt for dresses with an empire waist, located below the breast which is also the perfect option for women who are pregnant as it's free-flowing and non-restrictive. What else.... Well A-Lines are so feminine because they highlight the waist perfectly, they are casual enough to wear on weekends and for more informal offices.

Not only fantastic for strolling around town they are perfect for traveling on busy public transport and great for cycling as you feel free and are able to pedal faster and easier, which is superb for shifting those pounds so you can have a rest from you're A-line designs too!!

Most fabrics can be used to form an A-line garment, although heavier garments tend to drape differently. Lightweight cotton, silk are suitable for warmer weathers and give a nice dainty silhouette. Another great option is eco-jersey fabric, its slightly sporty and is great for hot sunny days. Remember the A-line shape is not recommended for really petite ladies as it can sometimes swamp the figure and look a tad drab...so stick to body-con...lucky you!!

Let Us Shop

I have to admit, that I am a shopaholic. This could be because I am a college student and most young college students enjoy shopping. Think about it. How exciting is it to go out and purchase something that you take satisfaction in? This can be very exciting! The people in my life who love me the most are always questioning me when I tell them I am heading to the mall. Come on, going to the mall can be fun!

Checkpoint: Always double check to see if a store has coupons when making a purchase on a particular day.

The first thing I do when I walk into a store is to glance at ALL the sale prices. Yes, clearance racks are my number one favorite. Clearance racks are the first sections you go to when you walk into any store of choice. I once found a pair of wedges (sandals) for only $3.99, true story. These $3.99 pair of wedges is still being worn today. Even if I am not sure something in my closet will match what I just purchased; I still get it just because the price is right! Hey you never know, one day you will find something to wear with your purchased item.

Checkpoint: Do you realize that summer items are cheaper during the winter season, and winter items are cheaper during the summer season? Try this experience and you will see!

Something I have learned to do when shopping at the mall was too shop everywhere that had a good deal. I would not recommend shopping at one store all the time. Change it up a bit; you do not want your style to get boring. Try shopping at different stores in the mall, get a different taste of how it feels to wear a jean skirt one day or jean styled Capri pants. It is better to have a variety of clothing for different type of occasions. Remember, shopping does not have to be something too expensive. Look for sales! You will be surprised at the nice outfits you can put together for a cheaper price. Trust and learn from me, the shopaholic.

Checkpoint: Always look for sale prices! Saving a dollar will make a difference.

I view shopping as another way to relax besides; reading like I stated in my previous article. You go out to the store, find something you like, try on something you like, admire it for awhile and then make a purchase! Make sure you make a purchase as soon as possible; you would not want to change your mind while waiting in line. "Hmm should I buy this shirt or not..." Do not waste time. Once you see an item you like, go try on and get out of the store. The longer you wait contemplating about whether or not you should get a black shirt from Macys will allow you to walk out of the store empty handed! This has happened to me numerous times. And I have finally learned my lesson.

The next time you go shopping, be sure to enjoy it! Take your time to find an item that you find interest in; just be sure it is on sale! Sale prices will pay off at the end of the day. Please checkout my blogs and other products here on sale for YOU to shop through! Enjoy.

Simplifying the Seasonal Swap

With each change of season comes the daunting task of swapping out seasonal wardrobes. As you begin the task of switching out your clothes, it may depress you to think of all the clothes you must pack and unpack. Do not despair. There are several things you can do to make the chore quicker and easier.

Don't be too quick to head out on your seasonal shopping spree. Take a second look at what you already own. There may be several ways you can repurpose your wardrobe that will freshen your wardrobe and save you money.

Before packing away last season's clothes, check to make sure they are freshly washed and well maintained. Even small spills or dirt stains can develop into significant blemishes by next year. Checking for this now will save you the effort next time you switch out your wardrobe.

Depending on the time of year, you may face some unusually warm fall days or cool spring evenings. To ensure you are prepared for either case, you may want to consider leaving out a few clothing items from the previous season.

As you unpack, take a close look at your clothes and other accessories. If there are repairs to be made, now is the time to get them done.

Also think about the changing trends in fashion as you evaluate what you own. Are hemlines shorter this year? Consider hemming your skirts a few inches to stay in style and save a few dollars.

Something as simple as new buttons can give a garment a much-needed facelift. Craft and fabric stores are an excellent place to find trimming and decorations to help you update your wardrobe.

You can even find a new pair of shorts in pants that are too short or shredded at the hem. Simply cut them to the desired length and hem. With a little effort and creativity, it may turn out that you don't even need to spend on a new wardrobe this season.

Wearing Flattering Clothing

Clothing can be your enemy or your friend, no matter what your body size, so here are pointers that will help you look slimmer. Nobody is perfect, and we all have parts of our bodies we are not happy with, and the great thing is clothing can be used to hide these and accentuate the good parts.

A frequent method used to cover up a problem is to wear big, baggy clothing. People just pile on a whole lot of oversized hoodies and big track pants, though these can often actually accentuate and amplify your size. However, you should not wear clothing that is too tight as this will not help either.

The best way to make yourself look slim is to choose outfits that emphasize the good parts of your body and hide the bad parts. For example, a pencil skirt that is the right size almost always looks good on any size body. The same goes for a nicely fitted pair of jeans, they are another sure thing.

Color is another important tool in the armory. Lighter colors usually amplify a larger body shape, while the darkest shades are brilliant at slimming down. Patterns can also be bad for those with a fuller figure but this is not such a hard and fast rule and depends on the exact pattern.

Another trick is to buy a quality pair of shaping underwear. These pieces have been designed specifically to squeeze in at certain points, comfortably, giving you a better outline. The brassiere is the key undergarment, but there are also corsets and girdles now available too.

If you look you will find lots of information on this topic on the net and in magazines. Also, you have to remember that attitude is all important, if you feel great, you will look great too.

You need to carry yourself with confidence, don't slouch around as this makes you look bigger than you actually are, whereas standing up straight distributes the weight. This is critical to looking good, as no matter what you wear, if you slump then you will look bigger.

Be wary of clothing fads. It may seem like a good idea to buy the latest item, but you have to be sure that it suits your body type first.
