Fashion Tips - Choosing a Designer Purse

There is nothing more important to a woman's wardrobe than the type of clothes and purses that she chooses. No fashion accessory can compliment your shoes or outfit better than a unique, purse. Whether you are looking to purchase one for a special occasion, season, or just to update your wardrobe choosing the right purse can at times seem like a daunting task. There are many sizes, styles and colors to choose from so knowing where to start may be confusing. If you can seem to go with something neutral make sure that your new designer purse will at least match 3 of the most elegant pieces in your wardrobe.

Every woman has their own unique way of choosing the right purse but in general they should always take into account a variety of factors including their current wardrobe, body shape, and what occasions their new purse will be used for. Choosing the wrong size purse can make your body shape look unevenly portioned such as a very petite woman carrying around a purse that seems to weigh as much as she does.

If you are able to purchase at least one purse per year or as the season changes you should do so just to have that little something special hanging in your closet. If you are on a budget you should make choices that can be used for a variety of outfits or occasions. Neutral colors such as beige, white, black, and brown should be at the top of your list. However, with the many designs, colors, and shades available when purchasing a designer purse it may be hard to stick to just neutral colors. If you can seem to go with something neutral make sure that your new designer purse will at least match 3 of the most elegant pieces in your wardrobe.

Designer purses that are made out of leather are a good choice. They tend to mesh well with a variety of wardrobes regardless of colors or designs and can be used for years. Leather is durable and if taken care of will be well worth the money that is spent on it.

You can purchase purses from almost any local shop or department store but finding the perfect designer purse for yourself will take some research and a small investment. For name brand designer purses you can expect to pay anywhere's from $300 to even the lower thousands depending on the manufacturer and the style you choose. Designer purses made from leather can even run into the upper thousands so if you are looking for quality you will definitely need a budget for it. There are many sizes, styles and colors to choose from so knowing where to start may be confusing.

You can purchase knock offs that look almost identical to the real thing but the material and durability is not as good and will more than likely wear out much quicker than the designer. So if you are looking to purchase a designer purse make sure to do your research and pay for only premium designers and not get ripped off by the fake.
