I LOVE WOLVERINE BOOTS!
Now, honestly, you will be hard pressed to find anyone who doesn't love Wolverine boots. But for those of you who haven't tried this brand, I will give you 5 quick reasons why you should wear them.
1. Comfort-Check the reviews or ask anyone who wears them, they are incredibly comfortable. They are lighter than any boot I have ever worn (as some feel like I put on leg weights). The sole is very soft almost like a moccasin.
2. Durability--Wolverine boots last a long time. I still have a pair from 10 years ago that I will wear around the house. Although I have bought several pairs since, it wasn't necessary; I just like wearing shiny new boots!
3. Support--Wolverine offers fantastic customer support. If something is wrong with your boots, they will replace them and I am not sure if there is a statute of limitations. A friend of mine sent his back after two years because of a broken eyelet and received a new pair!
4. Technology--Here are just a few of the innovations that Wolverine has developed for boots:
- MultiShox - Several compression pads in the heel and foot are designed to absorb shock independently, where it is needed most, and give back energy in each step, providing comfort all day long.
- Durashock Construction - Compression pads in the heel and front of the foot compress into the outsole to dissolve forces before they reach the feet and legs.
- Opanka Construction - The Opanka construction hand sews the upper, the sock lining, and outsole together in a single process creating a cushioning effect.
- Gore-Tex - Waterproof, breathable, GORE-TEX membrane allows wetness out, but water can't get in.
5. Variety and Safety--You can get waterproof, electrical hazard proof, steel toed or soft toed boots. They have hundreds of great styles and features. All Wolverine Boots & Shoes are laboratory tested to meet the high safety standards set by OSHA and meet all ANSI standards set by OSHA.
So when choosing your next pair of hiking or work boots, do a little research and choose the best; choose Wolverine.
